45 min
8 people
Cardboard and 3 servos
The thing with fast-prototyping: it goes fast.
The purpose of the bunny was to give it a body and a lot of hearts. Trust the process. Parkinson's law: work expands to fill the time available for its completion. The project filled up to 45 minutes time, efficiently within this short frame. When saparating the tasks, all elements came together in one robot.
People
We were with 8 people in total. All of us worked on different pieces of the robot. I would
say it was an equal collaboration: there was not necessarily one person that took the lead. We
mainly iterated on each other. As mentioned before, the robot servos were meant to be put in
several parts of the body, but it went even beyond the body of the robot: the hat was
additionally
created.
Objects & Materials
Hearts everywhere! We used a lot of stickers and a lot of decorative material to make the robot also appear cute. The Carboard was mainly for creating a hard structure for the robot. These metal wires with for were only there, because they would make the appearance of the bunny more cute.
Messages
Within the Session I already created a groupchat and added people during the session. We all shared all the pictures taken.
Servies
I personally like to get a group together and make them all look the same direction. In this case the structure of the robot, separate of it's appearance. Preferreably befóre everyone starts to run of everywhere. Then when everything is settled, I like to add goofy elements to the created object. In this case the furry metal wired ears and a few hearts.
